MLS (Member and Leader Services) is desktop software developed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to help local units manage membership and financial information. Used by wards, branches, and stakes, it centralizes recordkeeping and reporting so clerks and leaders can support ministering, administration, and compliance with Church policies.

Key capabilities:

• Membership management: update household information and contact details, record ordinances, track callings, and generate directories and leadership lists.
• Financial administration: record donations and expenses, prepare batches and statements, reconcile accounts, and produce reports for audits and leadership review.
• Reporting and planning: create standard and custom reports, action and interview lists, and unit statistics to support local decision-making.
• Secure data exchange: operate offline on meetinghouse computers and synchronize updates with Church systems through send/receive, with role-based access for authorized users.

In recent years, many MLS functions have moved to the web-based Leader and Clerk Resources (LCR) and online finance tools on ChurchofJesusChrist.org. Depending on local direction and internet availability, MLS may still be used in some areas or for specific tasks.
